Tips
- Offer Ancient Seeds at his altar in the Black Forest; Vegvisirs in Burial Chambers point you to it.
- Very weak to fire: a Finewood Bow with Fire Arrows is the go-to. Solo, you may need around 200 arrows.
- Hide behind the four stone pillars from his vine volley. He never uses it when you are in melee range.
- Don't waste time on the roots he summons: step out of their reach and they vanish in about 20 seconds.

Calling forth the beast
You have found the summoning place of one of the Forsaken. Make the correct offering at their altar and they will come. Be wary though, the Forsaken are not easy prey, so craft a wicked weapon, don your finest armour, and eat a hearty meal before engaging them in combat.
