Tips

Offer Withered Bones at his altar in the Swamp; Vegvisirs in Sunken Crypts show where it is.
Drink Poison Resistance Mead or wear the Root Mask: the fight is balanced around it. His poison cloud can't be blocked.
Weak to blunt and frost, very resistant to pierce and fire. Bring the Iron Sledge or Stagbreaker; bows only work with Frost Arrows.
When he leans back, sprint away: the cloud barely reaches behind him. Kill the Skeletons and Blobs he throws out right away.
