Tips

• Offer Ancient Seeds at his altar in the Black Forest; Vegvisirs in Burial Chambers point you to it.
• Very weak to fire: a Finewood Bow with Fire Arrows is the go-to. Solo, you may need around 200 arrows.
• Hide behind the four stone pillars from his vine volley. He never uses it when you are in melee range.
• Don't waste time on the roots he summons: step out of their reach and they vanish in about 20 seconds.
